Graphic design harnesses the power of mass communication to influence people's visual perceptions, resulting in changes in their thoughts, behaviors, consciousness, and emotions.
Below are principles you should consider while designing your work.
White space
Is there any free space in the right spot?
Trying to cram too much text and visuals onto a page makes it hard to read. White space gives your design some breathing room. Is the spacing between the text columns sufficient? Will the text collide with the graphic or frame? Do you have a substantial deposit? You may have too much vacant space if the item floats on the page without any anchoring.
Harmony
Is there a sense of continuity in your design? The document's repetitive design components and consistent usage of fonts and graphic styles can assist users navigate the design and layout comfortably. Make sure your document's page design follows the concepts of repetition, consistency, and uniformity. Is the page number always in the same place on each page? Are the primary and secondary headings the same size, style, and location? Do you have a graphic or art style that you always use?
coordination
Coordination causes chaos in the order. The way you arrange the typefaces and visuals on the page in relation to one another can make your layout easier or more difficult to read, cultivate familiarity, or breathe new life into old designs. Have you tried using a grid? Is the text and graphic blocks on the page aligned in the same way? The orientation of the text should aid reading. If some aspects are incongruent, they should be done on purpose, with specific design aims in mind.
Comparison
Large and small elements, black and white text, squares and circles can all be used in design to generate contrast. Contrast is used to draw attention to distinct design aspects. Is there enough contrast between the text size and color, as well as the backdrop color and pattern, to keep the text readable? The design lacks contrast if everything is the same size, even though some parts are more vital than others.
Equality
Closeness or proximity builds a connection between components on a page in design. The proximity of the pieces that are far apart reveals whether or not there is a relationship (or lack thereof) between them. Using the third element, Unity may also connect pieces that are far apart. Are all of the title elements in place? Is all of your contact information in one spot? Is there a connection between frames and frames, or do they divide similar parts in the document?
