Step 1.

Open Photoshop.

Step 2.

 To avoid damage to the picture that cannot be fixed, open the prepared picture, duplicate a layer of the picture, click the mouse on the background, ctrl+J to copy the layer, keep the original layer.

Step 3.

Choose the content that will be feathered. Locate the tool for selection. As an example, choose the content of the photo on the picture using the ellipse tool. Hold down the ctrl key and use the mouse to choose a perfect circle, as shown in the image.

Step 4.

Choose-reverse, then select the image's edge. To reverse the selection, use ctrl+shift+I.

Step 5.

At this point, you should select the feather with the right mouse button, locate it, and fill in the feather radius; the bigger the value, the larger the feather range. Extremely large values are rarely used. To continue, click OK.

step 6.

To erase something, press the delete key. To hide the backdrop layer, click the small eye in the layers panel at the left side of the picture.
